I use soap and water with a large soft bristle brush on my 08 Limited. The 5-spoke alloys on my car have a painted finish, not polished bare aluminum. They have been scratch and chip resistant so they must have a clear coat over the silver paint.

Any quality "All-Wheel" spray cleaner will do a great job. That's what I use.

Thanks guys...will these "All wheel" sprays prevent dust buildup? My local dealer is clueless as well as the Auto Parts stores I have asked.

No, none will prevent dust buildup. To do that you need brake pads thet create less dust or some sort of shield that blocks the dust. In my opinion, there really are no "low-dust" brake pads. The difference between regular and so-called "low dust" pads is minimal (but the price isn't minimal). And dust shields, in my opinion, block air from getting to the brakes to cool them.
