2014, 2.4L petrol iMax.
Was driving the other day and accidentally did not fully engage the driver lever properly. Was sitting between D and N. Took off ok but 200 meters later lost power and had to crawl home. Realised gear lever was in the midway position and corrected but the van would not drive normally. The engine sounded like it was labouring and sounded throaty when putting my foot down but would not speed up. Had to crawl home. Have tried resetting the transmission by disconnecting the battery for an hour still the same although initially, I thought it was good as it sounded and felt better but when I got it out on the road it had the same issue. Have read it could be a collapsed catalytic converter blocking the exhaust or egr valve stuck open but I don't know where the egr valve is. Does anyone here have any suggestions as I really need the van for work?

This will require some pressure checks to determine if all is well. Until then, can't be sure.
