local independent mechanic?
I was just looking for some recommendations for an independent Hyundai mechanic around the Birmingham, AL area. Dealer is quoting high on a car I'm not sure I want to keep much longer (2013 Elantra limited, 90k miles or so).
Replace ignition coil $250
Replace spark plugs $290
Complete gdi fuel service $250
If I go elsewhere I'm out $200 for diagnostic fee.
Car died at a red light and restarted into limp home mode so it's finally lost my trust.
