Just bought a 2013 SF Limited 3.3L with the panoramic roof and loving it.. only issue I've noticed that I didn't catch during test driving, is a little engine knock for the first 3 seconds on startup. I've read a bunch of mixed comments but would love to hear feedback from y'all. I did just change the oil (it did it before the oil change) and have an OEM Mahle oil filter in. Glad to find this forum and looking forward to the community convos.

 

Did you purchase the oil filer from a dealership or did someone say it is OEM ?

Quality oil filters usually have an anti-drainback valve in them to prevent all the oil from draining back into the oil pan so oil is immediately available to engine parts on start up.
