Hi everyone. I wanted to introduce myself real quick. I stumbled upon the forum looking for some information on my wife's Santa Fe and figured I would sign up to get advice and maybe offer help in some areas.

My first Hyundai was a 97 Accent base model...no frills. I was in school at the time and needed a cheap ride. Let's just say I beat the crap out of the car and nothing would stop it. Finally after 150k it was getting ready to nickle and dime me so I sold it to a friend's dad and he drove it to the well over 200k point. He is finally selling it now because it would cost more to fix than it is worth.

With such a good impression I bought a used 02 Elantra a couple years back and now have over 90k on it. This one I have been taking care of so I hope it will last another 100k+.



My wife bought her first Hyundai around 2000? I don't know, but it was the first year of the second generation of the Tib. When she needed more room we bought an AWD Santa Fe in 02. It is now at the 90k point and some maintenance is needed. Looking for info on the Fe is the reason I found the site.
