hi all im new to the forum as well as an unexpectedly new hyundai owner. i have recently been given a 93 excel 4 speed manual. this car has some proclivities though, while running it wont stay in third or forth gear without being held there if you let go it will get kicked out of gear. ive looked at the linkage and the bushings and movement look ok. beyond that im in over my head.

 

How about the shift forks? Are they bent?
