New to Hyundai Forums -- Question on Foxwell for Elantra Touring
New to Hyundai forum, helping my sister in WNY maintain a 2010 Elantra Touring wagon. She's had it since mid-June (2020), and so far, hasn't been any trouble (except for a couple of flat-battery episodes that responded well to charging in the driveway).
I use a Foxwell NT-510 OBD scanner here on our Audi & VW cars for diagnostics, adaptations, module coding, etc (in addition to a Ross-Tech VCDS cable).
I'm curious if anyone here has any feedback on whether the Foxwell NT-510 with Hyundai/Kia "software" is useful for anything other than standard OBD-II functionality (that is, can it read/clear Hyundai-specific codes in modules like the BCM; is adaptation/long-coding even a "thing" with Hyundai -- I haven't seen it referenced anywhere).
Cheers -- Gary in NW Ohio.
