Hi,
I have read many posts on this forum starting about a year ago. I finally decided to become an active member.
I bought a 2009 Tucson new, and am pleased with the quality and versatility of it. I haul material from my local Home Depot, travel with our two dogs with plenty of room for them and our luggage, and have installed a cargo rack and hitch receiver. Except for the lack or power off the line, I enjoy the descent fuel mileage and care-free motoring.
It's just the basic 4 cyclinder, front drive model, but it is still a lot of vehicle for $21,000. I recently hit 50K on the odometer, and have not had to make any repairs. There was one recall, for some electronic shifting points, but I didn't have a problem with it even before the recall.
Anyway, hello to all.
Emery
