New Member and Galloper Owner
Hi,
Just signed up to the forum as I bought a Hyundai Galloper a few months ago and need to do a lot of work to it.
About the car: the 'Old Girl' is a 1998, 2.5TD, long wheel base version. The interior is in good condition, but externally requires a complete respray that I plan on doing. There is an oil leak at the front of the engine and the driver's side brake disc is cracked (just found that out, I thought is was simply air in the brake system that was causing the sensation in the foot pedal). There are a number of other things that I will need help with.
About myself: I'm a Scot, from Edinburgh, Scotland, who now lives in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I have no knowledge of fixing cars in this country or the best places to get new/second-hand parts from, except what's available on Mercado Livre, and need as much help from other Hyundai owners as I can get. I have owned a 1990, Mark 1, Mitsubishi Shogun in the past and did all my own maintenance on it, so have experience with a similar vehicle.
I look forward to interacting with other owners and learning all about my 4x4.
