A local used car lot had this Elantra and although I wasn't exactly smitten at first, I liked how it drove, and also, 3 pedals
She needs some minor working on. There's a pretty noticeable "clunk" when hitting bumps. I sure I have worn suspension components; she has 212k miles on the clock. I also either have an alignment issue or a front wheel bearing heading out. There's a somewhat loud hum at highway speed and it varies with speed, not engine RPM. Other than that, she's going to need front tires soon and that's about it.
I'm sure I'll be around as I work on her and run into things. Just thought I'd say hi and show her off a bit
Good luck with your new purchase.
Since you will be spending a lot of time on the road and its up there in miles, might be a good move to have a Hyundai shop check it over and do what is necessary so you don't get stranded on the road.. Nothing mentioned regarding maintenance history, so better to know where you stand and not waiting on the side of the road.
