Saying "Hi" from the new guy!
Just saying what's up on this forum. I never thought I would like anything other than american cars (I own a '72 Chevelle SS350, '70 El Camino, and a '85 Silverado 2500) til I bought my '07 Sonata as a daily driver. As a professional wrestler I needed a car that was good on gas for road trips and had enough interior room for guys my size to drive in comfort for long periods of time. I bought this car for $1000 at a police auction. In Texas people steal vehicles, chopped them and sneek them to Mexico. The front clip was gone but ran good so I bought it and started working on it. Other than a air bag light that stays on it works perfectly. The hot rod bug struck me this year and I started to squeeze performance out of the car. It look stock but knocks out 301hp to the front wheels but now it's time to make it look as well as it runs. I found this forum while surfing the net. I love the setup here and the people who love this Korean brand just like I do.
Got any pics of the dyno sheet?
I'll have to look for it. I have alot of paperwork and parts put in storage so I can have more room in the garage to work on my cars. When I find it I will put a pic in my gallery. After I finish the body work, suspenstion, brakes, and paint I will do some runs at the strip and post the vids here. Thanks for asking. I will put all the updates here.
