I just bought a 2009 Hyundai Sonata after having my mechanic give it a thorough assessment. The mechanic found a few minor problems to address but gave it a green light. As I drive it more and more often, hear a regular squeak--klunnk noise driving over any medium or large sized bump. i can handle the noice if the car is safe and reliable. The car has been outfitted with brand new winter tires if that matters. Think i can drive worry free or should i return it to the mechanic and ask for a second opinion? Love the car in every other way. My first Hyundai. Thank you

Can you have your mechanic check further for the source of the noise ?

He should have a pretty good idea of what he checked and what he didn't check because we can't always see everything.
You might take him for a ride in the vehicle so he has a better idea where to look.
