Timing Belt Question
Am new to this site. Thinking of purchasing a 2003 Sonata GLS V6 for my grandson as his first car. Has 90,000 miles.
Do not have vehicle repair history, so I do not know if and when timing belt was ever replaced.
Question - Is there anyway upon inspection of the car can I determine the condition of the timing belt:

Visual inspection of timing belts do not reveal the actual mileage on them
At least not to the naked eye.
If you are having the mechanic do the work then add another 5 to 6 hundred to the price of the vehicle
