Have a 1997 Excel 1.5L which is starting to b urn a bit of oil and also making a ticking noise. Im gonna try a thicker oil 20w/50 see how that goes but this ticking noise is a bit of a ?yes the car does have oil in it. Ticking noise is very evident in the top of the moter i.e Lifters Wots the fix for the ticking and has anyone had similar problems. Car has done 151,000kms
