I just bought a 92 excell and it runs ok cold but when its goin for a while it seems like its choking for gas and dies out, i replaced the fuel filter and tried some injector cleaner but the problem still remains, i dont want to put a bunch of money into the car, waht should i do???

 

does it begin to slowly lose pwoer before it dies?

 

If the fuel filter was really clogged could be the fuel pump is already toast

 

it didnt seem like the old filter was too bad but i replaced it anyways, itl run for like 5 mins and drive but after that it just dies out slow like if im sitting at a light and it just loses power then its hard to get it goin again

 

but it will start up again when it dies? then does it stay running after that? and when it tries to die, if you give it gas, will it stay running with help?
