has anyone come up with the fix for the strut thunk yet? Had my Sonata about 2 days and it started clunking..Hyundai said it's the first there hearing about it I told them to look at this web site and see the 200+ posts on it..Just hoping someone figured it out..Nice car except for the noise

hello im new to this site,i own a 2006 sonata and im glad to here that im not the only one with that strut sound , i took my car to the dealer twice and both times they said they couldn't duplicate the sound , does anyone know if this falls under the warrenty or if its out of our own pockets

 

I looked on their site and couldnt find the strut bars. Do you have a link?

 

Here best price but with free shipping took 10 days to get em did the rears helped alot will eventually do front I just do not want the hassel of having to dio a wheel alignment

I recommend getting your hans on an impact gun if you will do the job on your back the lower bolts were really on tight and I had trouble loosening them Had I had a lift I could have gotten better leverage . Good luck
