hello,i was wondering how to make sure i got timing set properly..im pretty sure i got it,it runs fine..i turned it over by hand first couple times before firing the car. but just wondered if anyone could send me some pics of the camshaft pulley and like a diagram thing is possible..i been trying to get this dam car to pass e test. it has 253 000km.wont pass e-test..i switched my whole flex pipe/cats out of my green car that just passed last year..the cat in my red car was dinked so i been swapppign parts over lol,anyways put new plugs and wires on..no check engien light anymore or misfires.. when i got this car i popped trunk and seen half a bottle of no smoke and i said to my buddy this doesnt look good anyways.i did oil change first thing when i got it then i took it for e test and it burn oil unbelievable..but when i drove it home it didn't smoke at all so second time i tried e test i tried a whole bottle of that no smoke and it didnt seem to smoke at all so...

 

i did realize the crankshaft gear (the smaller one) down below was off by 3 teeth..or so..i mean car runs excellent..idles great.no sqeeking or sputter at all anymore..

 

anyone know anything or no?

 

Align the timing marks of the camshaft sprocket and crankshaft sprocket, with the No.1 piston placed at top dead center on its compression stroke.

 

noone has ran into troubles with not passing e test with one of these cars?
