I have done EXTENSIVE research online at numerous sites and forums and find three descriptions as to the location of the ETAC unit, or Alarm System Reset switch. All three are different and at least wo of them are totally false. I find instructions, for example, for a 2004 that are not at all applicable to a 2005.

My sorry conclusion at this point is that some site's saying an '05 cannot be manually programmed are correct. There is no ETAC unit on the '05 model. Only a shop or dealer with the proper computer equipment can program a remote.
