Navigation Issues?
Please be careful when addressing navigation issues. Dealerships are not staffed with knowledgeable technicians to troubleshoot the navigation systems. By all means do not fall for a defective/failed head unit. If you get a .Exe warning in Korean language then your software has been corrupted/programmed failure. The SD card contains the software and the dealership will want to charge you $100-250 for a new one. I am currently investigating this issue and my software engineers will see if this is a programmed failure/virus. This is a wide spread issue and it goes beyond Hyundia. There is a potential class action awsuit if proven to be programmed. The navigation software is made by Mapnsoft. Any navigation system using this software is subject to this issue. I have contacted corporate Hyundia in the US, hopefully they will do something about this.
