Default HID Conversion Kits

I am looking forward to doing a HID Headlight Conversion on my '08 Sonata...
I've heard from friends and other people about some "Makes" having problems with these conversion kits...
Does anyone here know if Hyundai(s) have any problems???

Just about everything you need to know about HID conversion on a Sonata. Be mindful that such a modification will likely void the warranty on the car if it is covered.

CORRECTION:
"Be mindful that such a modification will likely void the warranty on theHEADLIGHTS if it is covered."
The rest of the warranty will not be voided.

The only waranty on the car is the 100,000 mile that comes with it. I didn't get the maintenance waranty. That 100,000 mile waranty from my understanding is for the powertrain (engine, tranny) etc. Will that be voided???

There are a few waranties that came with new Hyundais. One is the 10-year/100k-mile warranty on the drivetrain (engine and transmission). Another warranty is the 5-tear-60k-mile bumper to bumper warranty. That basically coveres just about everything other than the engine and trans (with a few exceptions).

No, changing headlights will not void the powertrain warranty but it will void the warranty on the headlights. But that is all it will void.
