I know some people have dropped the BetaII from the Elantra into an Accent. It's even possible to fit a turbo in as well.

The 4cylinder tuscani(coupe) motor could fit, plus it would be much easier to find aftermarketparts for.

The 4-cyl in the Tuscani/Coupe/Tiburon is the same Beta from the Elantra that Doohickie suggested.
