need a new one and here is where im confused. im told the A4BF-1 and F4A32 will work. mine has a A4BF and no number following. im also told that the manufacture date matters, it is july 6 1999. it has the 4 prong plug. the sites ive looked at show that after 6-1-1999 they use the 6 prong plug. any help appreciated thanks

 

Easy, use the trans with correct connectors.. each one of the terminals has a purpose.

 

I have a 2000 Elantra bad transmission, bought a trans they sent me a 4 prong and mine was a 6 prong. What can I do? Can you make a 4 prong work?
