A friend wanted me to help him replace the throttle position sensor in his 2003 Tiburon. Engine runs fine but coded that the TPS is bad. We replaced it but code still exists and my limited diagnostic tool says that the sensor is at 100% all the time. Also noticed that the car will not upshift and the auto stick has to be employed. I'm figuring a wiring issue but any input from those with more experience would be appreciated. I've read where specific sensors can be adjusted but this one is purely a bolt on and plug in item.
