Default 2007 Azera - How to remove Cluster Trim?

I have a 2007 Azera. Lately, it's been producing an intermittent rattle noise between the lower right Instrument Cluster Facia plate and the Ignition key area. And, it's driving me nuts.

When the noise occurs, I simply apply pressure with my fingers on or below the lower right part of the Facia trim plate/dash, and the noise goes away. Everything seems to be snug otherwise, but, the added pressure is enough to stop the rattling. I suspect maybe a loose cable/wire?

So, in order to investigate, I wish to remove the Instrument Cluster Facia trim plate (around the plastic window). From what I can see, there are only 2 screws at the TOP of the trim plate.

Has anyone removed the facia? Being plasic and all, I didn't want to break or crack anything.

Thanks!

I couldn't find the diagram. I recommend you take it to the dealer since it's still under warranty anyway. You don't want to break anything and void the warranty.

CLUSTER FACIA PANEL REPLACEMENT

NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Tilt the steering column down.

2. After disconnecting the trip sensor connector (A), remove the cluster facia panel (B).

3. Loosen the screws.

4. Disconnect the cluster connector, then remove the cluster (A).

5. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
