Ac blower motor speed at less than full
2012 Santa Fe v6
blower motor only works at full speed.
changed resistor and checked it with ignition on but engine not running all speeds of blower worked.
started engine and blower would only work on full speed.
The BCU body control unit controls input to many thing related to blower.
Could this be a programming software problem?

If the required setting is more than a few degrees different from present, in vehicle temp, and the system is on automatic , it will blow hi speed until it reaches the desired setting. What does it do if you lower the desired setting all the way down?

I have the same problem in my 2012 Santa Fe. The temperature control is not automatic and the blower only operates at full speed when on. I have already replaced the "resistor" which is really some sort of semiconductor device.
Any suggestions?
