Default Blind spot warning signal not audible

I have a Kona and cannot hear the warning chime above the indicator sound and road noise when a vehicle is in my blind spot and I am about to change lanes. I do not want to rely on this warning but it is a valuable safety feature and a selling point when I chose the car. Anyone else encountered this problem and solved it? I am told it is factory installed and can’t be adjusted.

Just from a different perspective,it may be possible to connect another chime in the circuit to provide 2 chimes sounding when the signal is sent to activate the chime..
A wiring diagram will be needed to look into the system to make sure the 2nd chime doesn't overload the electronics. That might be loud enough to be heard over the other side noises.A shop with a good electrical background might be able to look into this for you.

A friend drove the car and agrees the volume is far too low but service dept says it is “normal” volume. Not willing to do anything about it.
