Hey, just wondering if anyone else has had this prob., or if anyone has any suggestions. I've got a 98 Tib, and the dash lights go out after about 10 minutes of car running. It's not the dimmer switch, and it can't be the fuse because they work for awhile. My husband thought it could be the headlight switch, but we were driving with the lights off today, and when he turned them on after we had been driving for about 15 min., the dash lights didn't come on. The other lights ( engine light, brights, etc.) keep working though. I figure something getsheated up, and thats when they stop working. A pain in the butt for early morning and night driving! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to have to take it to the dealer, they always over charge! LOL

How do you know it's not the dimmer? Not turning the dash lights on right away doesn't necessarily eliminate that.

 

My husband has a 2000 Tib., and it has the same dimmer switch as mine, I switched them, and it did the same thing.
