Thanks to everyone for the very useful information regarding the oil pressure indicator in the dash staying on for a few seconds after engine started. I bought a used 2009 Veracruz with the 3.8l engine with 200,000km on it. I noticed the same thing happening even after changing the oil, the oil filter, and the orings on the oil filter spindle. I was very concerned and very glad I could learn from your own experience.
