How to reset tire pressure light?

RE: How to reset tire pressure light?
What do you mean by reset? If the tire was low and you added air, the light will go out by itself. If the sensors have been off he vehicle for a while, the computer "forgets" them and need to be re-added. TO re-add the sensors, you have to go to the dealer. They are only added with a Hyundai Scan Tool.

Thanks, NovaResource. Our previous car [Buick]had a 'reset' button that had to be pushed in order to remove the low tire pressure light. We checked the manual w/our Sonata; nothing was said about how to get the light off after airing up the tire. Sounds like when we start it up again, it should be off. Thanks for the head's up. It takes a bit to get used to a new make.

OK. No, you should have tto reset the TPMS system if the tires are all inflated correctly. The light should go out within a mile or two of driving. If it doesn't, have the dealer look at the system.
