Hello,

The yellow Brake Lights (next to the rear tail lights)on our XG350 is having problems.

When stepping on the brakes, it does not light up. However, when we open the trunk, using the electronic key, it flashes therefore, it does not seem to be a bulb issue.

Any suggestions?

Try activating the turn signal stalk. Either direction will do. You might see one (or the other) of the yellow bulbs blinking.

 

Ah, you realize yellow lights are not brake lights, they are turn signals. The brake lights are red. Use your turn signals or turn on the hazzard flashers and the yellow lights blink. They will not light with the brake. Only the red lights will.
