Hello everyone,

I am having some issues with my 2016 Hyundai Tucson 1.6 T-GDI 177 4WD EXECUTIVE DCT-7 and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar problems. The issues I am facing include a malfunctioning speedometer and RPM gauge, multiple warning lights on the dashboard including the ABS, collision system, and engine light, as well as problems with the automatic transmission.

I took the car to a mechanic at the dealership but they have been unable to find the source of the problem. The diagnostic scan is showing a problem with communication between the different modules of the vehicle. Has anyone else had this problem or know what could be causing it?

I would really appreciate any advice or information that anyone can provide. I am concerned that this problem could be a major issue and I want to make sure that I take the necessary steps to get it fixed.

I have multi lights lit up [abs, trac ,all wheel drive] and mech said it's my wheelspeed sensor but it is absolete so he would have to order new rear abs wheel speed $273.52 and cu axle $1,091.23 and would take around 21 days for the part from Canada. Mind you this is a 2011 Veracruz with 55,000 miles on it well taken care of.
Also need new struts $1000 plus to replace.
Can't wrap my head around the "absolete"

 

You might consider getting a second opinion, What about a Hyundai dealer?
