Hi all,
My wife recently purchased an '06 sonata v6.
The bottom of the mileage numbers are faded out.... missing.... you only see the top 2/3 of the number.
Didn't think much about it.

One day I used her car and it seemed to me the mileage didn't change. But she just goes to work and back (@11 miles per day) so I was not sure.

I notice the mileage is 163599, so as I'm driving I'm looking to see it go to 163600. But it went to 163777............
I was going to the store so I parked with 163777 on the clock.

When I leave, I went through the parking lot to the road and now it says 163717.
So am I loosing my mind? lol

She went back and forth to work for a week or so, and I used the car again.
It shows 164073. I took a picture.
Four days later it should have maybe 44 more miles, but now it says 163745.

Never saw anything like this.......

My questions are......
Are the faded numbers something the dealer should have known is a problem?
How do I fix this problem?

Can we inquire where the vehicle was purchased?
