removing harmonic balancer on 2.5L V6
I am having quite a bit of trouble removing a broken harmonic balancer on my 2000 sonata V6. I put a ratchet with a breaker bar on the center bolt and tried giving the car a quick start to crack it loose. This seems to have worked well for others on this forum, but the bolt wouldn't budge using this method on my vehicle.
Other posts have stated that an impact gun also works, but unfortunately I don't have access to a gun with a socket large enough for the center bolt.
Are there any other methods for removing the harmonic balancer/crankshaft pulley? or am I destined for a trip to the mechanic?
Thank you for your time.
