Hey everyone, new here but i have a 2001 tiburon, i replaced the starter on it(was the original one from factory) and after found that it bucks in gears 1-4. not constantly but occasionally. for some insight i did forget to plug in the MAF on the intake box. but that wouldnt have caused that issue just the surging and wanting to stall in idle as it cant read the air flow. ive been trying to look online but cant find anything about why its happening. its a 2001 tiburon with 90,000 miles (i know its seemingly low milage, but it has been neglected by my brother and aunt who owned it before me). pretty bad oil leak build up over the years but have not necessarily had the money to fix it. i did goof on the removal of the starter and removed what i thought was the right bolt for the top one(was not, it was a bolt for the transmission housing with a negative ground cable on it) and i also did not remove the speedometer cable assembly(at least that was shopkey was telling me it was, but when moved it put the transmission in 4th gear and it also moved up and down fairly easily). if any one has any experience with this happening please let me know
