turn signal
I physically broke the turn signal on a 2017 Elantra, and was wondering if its a pain to replace (its under warranty, would I void my warranty if I tried to replace it myself?). I've seen some with sticks on both ends, and some with just the turn signal part....how can I tell which one I have? or what would it be to replace at the dealer?

thanks, I can't find a youtube video for my year.....anybody know if I have to remove the steering wheel to replace it.....I have replaced the multi-function switch several times on my 2006 F150 and I that needed to be done when unscrew the column covers and then the screw that holds the multi multi-function swtich and unplug it and pop the new one in...I'm hoping its kindof the same thing
I still haven’t taken the columns off to see if the two sticks are separate or all one piece—Any idea where I can find a replacement
I can’t find anything that looks like that switch
( on the bottom where it attaches to the car it looks like a ball)
but on all the ones I found, they look like these below
Sorry, there are no videos on your year.
Maybe a good time to make a video
Cell phone camera and a little patience
There are some free video editing software ie., "Shotcut"
Plenty more. But, do as you feel is right.

From looking at the pix, the steering wheel needs to be removed to replace the switch assy.
This will require some special tools which you probably don't have, so best to have someone with the tools and experience replace it.
I can't imagine why you would want to put a used part back after going through all that work. Nothing like having to do it over again.
If I installed the customer's used part, got paid for the job ,then shortly after have to do it over again, 2nd time is always easier plus I get paid for the second time too.
