I'm flushing my system and wondering what kind of antifreeze to use. I was under the assumption that the old green antifreeze are not good for imports and newer domestic cars, so I was going to use the orange Dexcool, but now I read that there are issues with Dexcool destroying gaskets. The old coolant I drained was green.

Is there an improved green for imports now, or was I misinformed?

You are misinformed. Have you looked at the type of antifreeze that's already in your Hyundai?

 

Just go get you a bottle of any brand name green flavor, mix it 1 bottle of coolant with 3 qt water in a 5gallon pail, then add to cooling system.
