Is there a good source for used parts online? Ideally something I can search?
I've bought a few items off eBay and love that I can see the part, get a good price and ask questions.
Are there vendors out there doing that kind of thing on their own websites?
Ideally I'd like a vendor online in Canada (or at least ships to Canada) but I can work around the Canada issue via US relatives I have.

yes theres an excellent search engine for scrapyards - http://www.car-part.com

very useful. gives prices if they entered it as well as location and approximate distance to you. just call them ahead of time to check the condition of the parts, most junkyards bull**** it on the site unfortunately.

 

That site looks quite promising thanks! It even has parts from Canadian scrapyards.
I have a 2007 Elantra and it looks like there's two yards within driving distance of me that are listing parts from a 2007 so there's some local donor vehicles if I need something.
