I've had this intermittent issue that's really weird for the last 4 months or so. When I am in stop and go traffic and accelerate from a full stop, I will hear the engine revving up and see that I am in 1st gear like I was in manual mode. A quick movement of the gear shifter to manual mode and back to drive fixes the problem. Its also done this while driving around 50mph and shifts me into 4th. Anyone hear of this issue? Unfortunately I am right out of warranty. Will be selling the vehicle soon so would like to fix this beforehand.
