2003 Hyundai Accent
Hey guys first post here and first Hyundai Accent.
So my MIL basically gave us a Hyundai Accent (2003) it has 84k on the clock, and Im pretty sure there isn't a panel on this car that isn't damaged It's a 5 speed, manual Windows and Locks. Debating on trying to fix it or not. It has some rust on the hood, hatch doesn't open and the hood doesn't close all the way its on the safety catch. And the Speedo works only when it wants to.
Any thoughts on if I should proceed or not?

First thing to do is to fix the hood latch.
If the hood is not aligned properly then do that.
There are adjustments that can be made to the little rubber bumpers that hold the hood to the proper height.
Can be done by turning them.
Next check the wiring for the speedometer or tranny speed sensor
Scan ECU to read Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
Inspect hatch to find the release
Open and do more inspection
May have to remove trim panels
