2006 Accent Atlantic Exhaust alternatives?
Hi guys,
I'm hoping someone might be able to help.
My better half drives a 2006 Hyundai Accent Atlantic (hatchback) petrol, 1.4GL, FWD III MC, 1399cc, 71Kw, 97hp, G4EE. It's an automatic and she absolutely loves it, and doesn't want to part with it. It really is a nice smooth, quiet drive.
However, I'm struggling to find centre and rear silencer boxes for it. I recently had to replace a front flexi pipe, which I got no problem. I noticed the middle and back boxes were starting to look pretty worn too and decided I would renew them. Unfortunately, I cant get them anywhere! I even went to Hyundai main dealer who told me even they couldn't get them!
Are there any middle/back boxes from other models (maybe the saloon version?) which would fit (maybe even with some modification)?
I'm in the UK.
Thanks for any suggestions.

This is what I would try,
Start with your auto parts supply stores, they might have a listing for the parts you need and may even have them in stock.
You might also consider trying some exhaust system repair shops, they might have what you need or can at least tell you where they would get them.
Worth a try, what do you think?

Excellent, I'll get on to that ASP, thanks for your suggestions. I didn't think of local autoparts stores.
Cheers!👍
