'99 Brake Lights
My left & right brake lights are not working. The bulbs are good, and the CENTER light works fine. I've checked the fusebox, but can't figure out which fuse is for brakes. The fuse for Backup/Turn signal lights is good. However, if the center light works, is it not on the same circuit as the L&R? Any idea why they aren't working?

STOP LAMPS SCHEMATIC
Also, check connector MR05 near the left rear unit. Voltage for both corner rear stop lights passes through this connector.

Wow. Thanks for all the info. Unfortunately I didn't check this until I had to go to work (on a holiday). I did try to get to the center brake light, but couldn't figure it out. I got the housing off, but couldn't get it unplugged to remove it all the way. After re-assembling it, the light no longer works. I couldn't get to the wiring harness behind the panel in the back. Maybe it's loose. I guess I'll have to take it to the dealer. Thank you for the great information.

UPDATE. I took the car to the Hyundai shop. The mechanic checked the electical system and it took him 2 hours to find out that both bulbs were bad. Remember that the bulbs looked good with intact filaments. Very strange.
