i have a 2001 accent and while driving the other day it suddenly stalled and won't start up again when i turn it over it sounds like it isn't getting fuel i changed my pump and filter and relay and it almost fired but still wont start also not everytime but every 4 times or so theres a clinging noise from timing chain area please help

 

There is no timing chain. It's a timing belt.

How many miles on the car? When was the timing belt changed last?

 

umm about 240 000 km on it i also talked to a friend recently who thinks it may be electrical because the old owner had an alarm in it and it was ripped out very poorly (loose wires everywhere) and the same thing happened to his grandpas car somthoing to do with the immobilizer but not sure the timing belt was checked and adjusted last year
