I love cruise control on the freeway. Not only does it save me gas, but it could also save me some very expensive speeding tickets ! I use the cruise control on my Toyota Tacoma truck all the time.

But unfortunately, CC was not even an option on my Accent GS 3dr hatchback.

Now, I have a personal mechanic, who is an absolute mechanical genious, plus a good friend. {which isdarn near priceless, for a poor guy like me, who drives for a living.... 50k to 60k per year} So, no doubts in my mind, that this install will be a peice of cake for him.

But my big concern is > will the addition ofCC void my 10year / 10K warranty ??? That would sure be lame ! Heck, if this was the case, I'd be tempted to put it on anyway...... then, if I had any major motor ortranny problems, take it back off, before bringing it in ! I'd sure hate to wait for 100,000 miles, before I added cruise control !

i have a freind who is a dealership mechanic, i asked him the same question about my 07 gs, he told me it only voids the warrenty if you **** some thing up. CC is my spring break project too. good luck
