Hi, my wifes car is a 2008 accent 3 Doors. We have a little problem with it. This fuse always instantly burn as soon as we litgh up the lights. It seems related to the dash board since the dashboard lights never works. The tail brake Light dont work either. All the other fuses or lights are ok. Someone have an idea what to check next?
It sounds like you might have a short circuit or a grounding issue in the lighting system. Since the fuse blows as soon as you turn on the lights and it affects the dashboard and tail lights, it could be that there's a short in the wiring or a component that’s causing the fuse to blow. Check the wiring harnesses and connectors for any signs of damage or corrosion, especially around the dashboard and tail light areas. It’s also a good idea to inspect the light bulbs themselves to see if they might be faulty

Yes, a burnt-out light bulb could potentially cause a fuse to blow if the bulb has shorted internally. When a bulb fails, it can sometimes create a direct connection between the power and ground, which would cause a surge of electricity and blow the fuse. It’s worth checking the bulbs in the dashboard and tail lights, and replacing any that are burnt out to see if that resolves the issue.
