Default GAS TANK PROBLEM

Any gas station I go to the fuel nozzle kicks off and stops the fuel from filling. I take a screw driver and pry back the auto kick-off button on fuel gun to prevent shutoff happening. There are three lines coming from the filler, could one of them be clogged with vapor locks? All lines look well externally.
Thanks forany help rendered.

I have seen the vapor line at the filler be kinked somewhere along it's length and this would cause what you describe.

Nova I checked filler tube in tank an used a snake to locate "shut off valve" and there seems not to be one and snaked up the filler line hose and itwas clear. I may need to remove tank unless the back seat has access door to tank not sure of that yet. They made one mess out of that fuel vapor filtration system I thought was back in the 70's with the air pumps etc.
any advise is appreciated as to what is critical for venting:
A) Fuel cut valve
or
B) Fuel vent valve

Thanks much,
Jim

sorry didn't see the post in time, but as the pics posted, the fuel shut off valve is the problem. the tank has to be removed from the car to access it.

The fuel shut off valve should be in the neck of the tank as shown on pics, previously stated I used a snake down the neck of tank and it went clear through to a sound on bottom of tank "tap", with no restriction.

I will check the fuel vent valve next and see if there is any change.
