Default Help with this Coolant/Thermostat hosing

OK so this is the deal.. I don't own a Hyundai nor do I drive one. My girlfriends dad broke the housing for the thermostat. The car is at her house since she can't drive it and I can't look at it. I looked up the part and it doesn't match what I'm holding in my hand. My GF doesn't even know what year it is grrrrrr!!! I think its 2000 or 2002. Well anyway here is the picture and I need to know what is called and where I cant replace this or if someone know a good way to bond two pieces of aluminum together without welding let me know. Sorry for the lack of details, this is a very frustrating situation

Thanks

Gotta find the year and engine first. 1.5L SOHC or 1.6L DOHC

Then go to a junkyard and find the right housing.
