Default Hyundai Accent code P0326

I just recently took my 2013 Hyundai accent se to my mechanic to make sure everything is alright (I like doing this every year, even when the car isn't giving me any issues) and after an inspection this is what the paperwork says.

ENGINE SENSORS. STORED CODE IN SYSTEM - LIGHT NOT CURRENTLY ON
P 326 KNOCK SENSOR 1 CURCUIT/RANGE PERFORMANCE BANK 1
SU13907 KNOCK SENSOR
REMOVE & REPLACE KNOCK SENSOR.

My mechanic said the computer gave him a code or something like that (I don't know much about cars) and he told me it would be about $450 to replace it. Now I read somewhere that this can be fixed with a computer update from the dealership. Apparently it's a known issue with the accents. How do I know if its a computer issue and not the actual knock sensor? and my last question, I bought my car at a ford dealership, should I take it to the dealership where I bought it from or should I take it to the Hyundai dealership? Thanks and I'm sorry about all the questions.

The Ford dealership might not necessarily get the TSB or update information on your Hyundai.
So take it to a Hyundai dealer might be a better idea.
