Interment starter problem
My 2011 Accent has a problem that I am 90% sure is the starter, but I would appreciate some help before replacing the starter.
Most of the time it starts fine, but occasionally the starter turns, stops completely for about a second or so, and then starts the car. It seems to be doing this more as time goes on.
I have checked the voltage of the battery, and it is putting out about 8.8 volts at its lowest point while cranking normally. It is charging (about 14.3 volts). There are no other symptoms or problems.
