Default lambda probe

Hi all,

I own 2000 Hyundai Accent GLS.2-3 months back 'check engine' light started coming while ondrive.
I wentto a main dealer, they told me lambda probe need to be changed. I got it changed for around
200 bucks but after 2-3 days it came back again. I called them again and they checked it again (for free of course)
and told me this time problem is in tube that connects front lambda probe with rear one and told me it requires
another 200 bucks. I feel totally frustrated.
Should i believe in their story and what exactly is that tube.

Default RE: lambda probe

they misdiagnose the car, your situation is a come back and they should fix it for free cause they did not fix the problem the first time. if you can get the DTC from them i can tell you what the problem is. sometimes a o2 snsr code presents itself, a leaking exhaust can cause it and if it's replaced the ecm needs to be reprogrammed also. but they should fix it for free.
