hi all im new to the forum and my problem is **engine check light** i have just brought a hyundai accent 1.5cdx 2000 and it drives well but the light is always on and not sure why the previouse owner said that its been on all year but with out any problems driving so any help with this would be most helpful

 

If the CEL is on there the computer has a code stored in it that will tell you what the problem is. Get the computer scanned. Most auto parts stores will do it for free if you don't want to buy your own scanner.
